Drowning in Adele

I know i said that I would come back to the blog, but I haven't been... But I seriously will be coming back now! I just broke up with my bf, so I have been feeling like shit and drowning myself with Adele. There are so many great memories with my bf. I loved cooking for him, so I will load pics and post the recipes on the blog from now on. when I cook, I don't look at recipes, so I'll try and be precise as possible. In a way,hopefully this will be a way to let go of my bf and have closure. 

結構前にブログを再開すると言いながら全然アップできてませんでした・・・　苦笑　でもまぢで再開しま～す！　つい最近、彼氏と別れて、アデルを聞きながら泣きまくってましたｗ　彼とはとてもいい思い出がたくさんあったな。今、思い出すと心が痛むけど・・・　彼にご飯を作って、一緒に食べるのは大好きだったんで、作ってきた料理のレシピ、写真などをアップしていきますｗ　今後はそれ以外にも色々とアップしていきたいと思います！

This is actually a bouquet I gave my bf for Valentine's Day. I really wanted to make a lush romantic bouquet, not romantic design-wise, but i wanted to focus on scent. I used the most fragrant flowers, two kinds of Yves roses, sweet peas, freesias and eucalyptus  AMAZING fragrance and I think it looks rather beautiful :)　これはバレンタインデーに彼氏に作ったブーケです！！大好きなイヴピアジェ、イヴクレールのバラ、ラナンキュラス、トルコキキョウと香りの良いスイトピーとフリージアを彼氏のために使いました！

Coming Back To The Blog :)

I've been so busy last year working three jobs and I literally didn't have time to post anything... But, I quit one of my jobs, so I will start posting again. :) It'll definitely start slow, but hope I can renew things and make it an even better blog :P

Koninginnedag \ Queen's Day Party

This post is LONG over due... But here it is! 


Koninginnedag or Queen's Day is a national holiday in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Celebrated on 30 April (the 29th if the 30th falls on a Sunday), Koninginnedag is Queen Beatrix's official celebration day. This is the day when all of The Netherlands goes orange. It's literally an orange madness. 


Along with my designer, I had the honor of making the floral arrangements for the Queen's Day party held at the Hilton Osaka. The party was a a success. Beautiful flowers, nice music, food and wine. I love parties lol

つい最近オランダ領事館主催の”Queen's Day”のパーティーがヒルトン大阪で行われました。このパーティーのために僕の師匠とスタッフ共にパーティーの生け込みをすることができました。とてもいい経験になり、パーティーもとても良かったですｗ

Magazine Photoshoot

Yesterday, I was helping out with a photoshoot for a magazine called Best Flower Arrangement. The Summer edition of the Magazine features Dutch Floral Design. There was so much I didn't know about what goes into a photoshoot. It took 6 hours to get 3 pictures. lol 

Talk Show and Demonstration at Takashimaya

Back in March, my designer had a talk show and demonstration at Takashimaya. It was a great experience and I had a lot of fun. I was also able to create an arrangement for the event. There was a lot to learn from my designer on how to teach people. There's still a lot I need to learn, but I'm thankful that I'm getting there.

Flower Show at Takashimaya

In March, there was a Flower Show at Takashimaya. There were wonderful array of flowers at the show including a display by Shane Connolly. In case you didn't know, Shane Connolly is the designer who was appointed to do William and Kate's Royal Wedding. I had the privilege of meeting with him briefly after his demonstration. He was a really nice man, very polite and down to earth. It was nice to understand his aesthetics and his approach to design.

三月下旬に高島屋でフラワーショーが行われました。すばらしい花がディスプレイされててとてもキレイでした。ショーの中ではロイヤルウエディングを手がけたデザイナーの見事なディスプレもありました。彼のデモンストレーション後に会うことができました。とても優しく良い人でした。彼の美学やデザインに対してのアプローチも理解できて良い経験でした。

Daffodils for my b-day

A friend of mine gave me 40 stems of daffodils for my b-day. The fragrance was AMAZING. It literally perfumed my whole apartment. It was such a thoughtful gift. Daffodils aren't my favorite flowers, but it's up there with my favorites :) They're such  a wonderful flower and they always make me smile. 友達が誕生日に４０本のスイセンをプレゼントしてくれました。スイセンの香りってすごいですね！部屋中がスイセンの良い香りで充満してましたｗ　春の球根花って笑顔を誘ってくれますよね！最高！
